“It is with sadness that, following a recent medical evaluation, and due to health concerns, my family and I have made the decision to step down as head coach at Fresno State and hire someone else to lead our football program,” Tedford said in a public statement.

Bulldogs assistant head coach and linebackers coach Tim Skipper has been named interim head coach for the 2024 season.

It's really sad to see something like this just before the season starts.
