Susan Eather, 60, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer. In Heaven, she is reunited with her parents, Ted and Sue, and her eldest brother, Ted. On Earth, she is survived by her children. Ryan and Kaitlyn. Siblings Dave (Jackie), Eve (Dwayne) and Jerry (Kim). Many nieces and nephews, a close circle of friends, and her dog Brady. Susan was born on September 14, 1962 in Tucson, Arizona. She then attended the University of Arizona, where she earned her law degree. Soon after her graduation, Susan joined the Pima County Law Firm and began her career as a Special Counsel. Susan has worked as a dedicated prosecutor for nearly 30 years, including her service in Pima and Yavapai counties. Although she handled cases ranging from misdemeanors to murder, her passion was prosecuting crimes including child abuse, sexual assault, and other personal victim crimes. We have worked tirelessly to hold victims accountable, bring victims to justice, and make our communities safer places. During her career, Susan has prosecuted nearly 200 serious felony cases. She is widely respected by her peers and has been recognized for her work by the Arizona Attorney Advisory Board. Susan received the APAAC Prosecutor of the Year Award and Her Lifetime Achievement Award. Away from her job, Susan loves spending time with her friends and family, cooking delicious meals, boating on the lake, playing guitar, and beating people with her bago. bottom. Her Susan service will be held on March 4, 2023 at 10:00 am at her Immanuel Presbyterian Church at 9252 E. 22nd Street, Tucson, Arizona.
