Gallego raises more money than Sinema in Arizona Senate race

Cinema won seats by less than 3 percentage points in 2018. Her fellow Arizona Senator Mark Kelly was re-elected nearly five percentage points behind her last November. But those races didn’t include any significant third-party or independent candidates, and both major parties agree that his contest will be a toss-up three-way.

Her sources of funding will come under scrutiny if Cinema does run. Because of her longtime association on Wall Street, which has infuriated many Democrats who claim she is protecting her powerful interests.
