A former Democratic National Convention (DNC) delegate released a video Friday declaring his rejection of the Democratic Party as he crosses the political aisle.

“In 2020, at age 18, I was elected to represent my district as one of the youngest delegates to the Democratic National Convention. And in 2024, I was elected again and returned to the DNC as a delegate.” said McNeil. “But this year I’m voting for Donald Trump.”

I am a lifelong Democrat and twice elected to the DNC.

I plan to vote for Trump/Vance in November and join the Republican Party as a conservative.

McNeil was elected in March and said he wanted to go to the Democratic National Committee for answers on free speech, borders and the economy. The former Democratic National Committee representative explained that he became disillusioned after attending the Democratic National Committee.

“After reflecting on my time at the DNC, I realized that the DNC is no longer the party of free speech and civil liberties that it once was,” McNeil said.

President Joe Biden endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris shortly after withdrawing his bid for re-election on July 21st. Even though prominent Democrats like former President Barack Obama initially proposed using an open primary system to determine the party’s successor, Democratic leaders decided to skip the Democratic Party’s election. Process the 2024 ticket and give Harris the crown.

“The fact that the Democratic Party elites stripped away the votes of 14 million Americans, including my own delegates, to install Kamala Harris as their presidential candidate, well, it’s a cover-up. “It was a trade-driven decision,” McNeil said.

“And now, I am happy to officially join the Republican Party as a constitutional conservative,” the former DNC delegate announced.
