Georgia man arrested for attempted murder at Havasu truck stop | Complimentary

A Georgia man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at a truck stop in Lake Havasu City.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Department says officers are charging Quan Stevens Arlin, 55, with second-degree murder, a felony, after an incident at a truck stop on State Route 95 near the Interstate 40 interchange. ) was announced to have been arrested.

The arrests were made after officers responded to a report of an assault at a truck stop on Feb. 4 involving two truck drivers. Arline is accused of pulling a knife during the argument and cutting the victim in the neck area, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim alert and responsive. Medical personnel took the victim to Havasu Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

The investigation into the incident included reviewing surveillance video footage and gathering witness statements. Authorities contacted Erlin by phone and told him he had left the state by then and would not be returning. A temporary arrest warrant was then issued.

On February 16, Arline reported to the Lake Havasu City substation and provided his version of events. After his interview, he was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident. He remains in custody on $1 million bail.

The investigation into the altercation is ongoing.

The lawsuit was filed Thursday in Mohave County Superior Court, according to court records.
