Yuma, Arizona (KYMA, KECY-TV) – Warmer than normal temperatures will continue in the high 90’s this afternoon before temperatures start to cool off tonight and into tonight.
A flood warning is in effect as of Tuesday, May 2, at 5:00 p.m., as water from the Painted Rock Dam continues to flow through Yuma County and down the Gila River.

A weather system passing northeast of the region will bring light winds across the region tomorrow.

A high-pressure ridge strengthens over the western United States later in the week and into next weekend, and a warming trend brings temperatures up next Serval Day.
