Auburn's first season under coach Hugh Freeze didn't go as planned on the field, but one thing that can't be disputed is the success Freeze has already brought to the Plains in recruiting. be.
The Freeze already have several five-star prospects, but none may be as impressive or exciting as wide receiver Cam Coleman.
Coleman originally intended to play at Texas A&M, but reversed his commitment to Auburn in early December to give Freese his biggest recruiting win to date.

Coleman helped lead Central Phenix City to its first state championship since 2018 in Class 7A, the highest level of high school football, the toughest in the state and the nation.

In the state championship game against Thompson (who had won the previous four state titles), he had five receptions for 143 yards, including this fourth quarter score of 73 yards, leading Central Phenix City to spread out.

At 6-foot-3 and with incredible speed for his size, Coleman is a nightmare for opponents and will immediately impact Auburn's offense.

Although he turns 18 just before Auburn's season begins, Coleman is already on Auburn's campus as an early enrollee, getting used to the offense and the jump to SEC football.
One of the best receiver prospects ever to come out of Alabama, Coleman is definitely one to watch this fall.
