Gila County – Gila County Public Health and Community Services partnered with the Cobre Valley Homeless Coalition to collect non-perishable food, water and snacks along with socks, toothpaste and other essentials to assist homeless and low-income recipients . 16:00 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This is a “drive-through drop-off” event, where volunteers will be on-site to help drop off donations.
where? Claypool, 4247 Broadway. Please note this drive-through drop-off sign and enter from the Tri-City Fire Department side.
What to donate? Canned soups/stews, peanut butter, canned fruits/vegetables, bottled water, canned chicken/tuna, canned beans, packaged snacks (granola bars, seeds, chips, etc.). Canned ravioli, Vienna sausage, Ritz crackers (individually wrapped). Ready-to-eat rice, Spam, small jerky sticks, crock pot meat, can opener, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, lotion, lip balm, socks, feminine hygiene products.
