Gila Valley Made becomes Copper and Cotton Lifestyle Co.

SAFFORD — Gira Valley Maid, one of downtown Safford’s flagship stores, is gone.

At the store’s two-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, owners Taylor Ludwig and Tricia Garrett announced that the store will be rebranded as Copper and Cotton Lifestyle Co.

Ludwig said: “We are not going anywhere.”

The store still serves as an outlet for up to 80 entrepreneurs, mostly women, to display and sell their wares, and Garrett said the name change was logical at this point. I said yes.

“It makes a lot more sense when you think about the future and the future two, five, 10 years from now,” Garrett said.

In addition to the store name change, Garrett and Ludwig announced the addition of a special room dedicated to baby and toddler items next to Kendra’s Bridal Room in the store.

“(We are) so blessed and grateful. We could not have done this without the support of our vendors, our family and everyone who continues to support us,” said Ludwig. say. “We plan to build something bigger and better.”

The event also saw the debut of a new business in the Gila Valley, Twisted Tin Party Hauls. It brings beverage service to any event.
