Actress Gina Gershon has detailed how her sex scene with Tom Cruise in “Cocktail” didn't go as expected.
Gershon spoke about the experience on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday. “That was my first ever love scene,” she told Cohen. When asked if Cruise took care of her, since this was uncharted territory for her, Gershon replied, “Absolutely.” Things were going smoothly until Cruise made a bold move.

Gershon explained how events unfolded.
“He's a gentleman, and at one point he started moving around under the covers, and I was like, that tickles me so much, but I told him never to do that, because…” she paused, explaining that she told Cruise that her stomach was off-limits.
The famous actor didn't pay attention and ended up suffering the consequences.
Gershon said it was literally a knee-jerk reaction.

“And in one take — and I think he just wanted a reaction, to be honest with you — he grabbed me by the stomach and I kneed him in the nose!” she told Cohen.
She exclaimed, remembering the incident.
“And I thought, Oh my God, I just broke Tom Cruise's nose!”

“And he said, 'No, no, you told me,'” she said.
Gershon said Cruz took the blow to the face in stride and didn't blame her for reacting the way she did.

Gershon enjoyed working with Cruise, despite the awkward gaffe.
“We kissed as much as we could, and I think we should kiss more,” she said.
