The New York Giants earned their first win of the 2024 season. 21-15 victory They beat the Cleveland Browns in Week 3. That being said, things started out badly for Big Blue. And if you ask head coach Brian Daboll about it, he'll blame his grandmother… well, his Grandma.
Early in the game, the G-Men fumbled the opening kickoff, and the Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson Working with wide receivers Amari Cooper A 24-yard touchdown. And to make the scene even crazier, the score came on the first play of the drive. At this point, New York looked headed for another defeat. But lo and behold, it was them who made Cleveland look like… well, them. (Related: Matt LaFleur beats Nashville Titans and burns down city after fire alarm goes off)
Daboll and the Giants were able to calm the manager's woes, at least for now, and it was clear in his postgame press conference that he was genuinely happy about the win. But things took a strange turn when he mentioned his late grandmother.
“Just an ordinary NFL “The game was great, we were competitive, especially the way we started the game, we showed a lot of tenacity away from home.” Dabo“Today, the 22nd, is the third anniversary of my grandmother's death. She raised me, so after the first two plays, I was like, I'm going to hand the job over to her. I was like, what do you have in store for me?”
clock:
“Let her mind her business”… You really need to find something else here.
