Go Lake Havas president and CEO Terrence Concannon has resigned from his position at the organization, the Today’s News Herald reported. Go Lake Havasu serves as the City of Lake Havasu’s designated marketing organization for the promotion of tourism.

The Go Lake Havasu board held its regular board meeting on Wednesday, followed by a board meeting. The meeting came eight days after the Havasu City Council voted 5 to 1 to extend the city’s contract with Lake Go Havasu to promote tourism until June 30, 2029.

“It has been an absolute honor to share the story of Lake Havasu City with the world over the past six years,” Concannon told the Today News Herald via text message. “I am excited about this new adventure and look forward to watching the City of Lake Havasu grow and innovate. I am proud to lead the wonderful staff who have contributed to the Board of Directors and our City Council, and to the tremendous efforts they have made to improve our community for both residents and visitors. Let’s go to Lake Havasu!”

Concannon began working at Go Lake Havasu in 2017.
