Conservative podcaster Dave Rubin criticized progressive political commentator David Packman on his podcast Wednesday, arguing that biological males should not participate in women’s sports.
Advocates and lawmakers have criticized the inclusion of biological men who identify as transgender women in women’s sports at all levels, especially in the run-up to the 2024 Olympics. Rubin said on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” that the two men are different genders before Pacman interjected with his comments about the podcaster, stressing that this is not just a Republican issue.
“What’s going on on the left is that these messiahs, these progressive warriors in this box, think they know these people better than they know themselves. “By the way, this has nothing to do with the well-funded evil money machine that the Republicans had. There are boys and girls, but they are different,” Rubin said.
“Rubin’s the right guy to talk to about that, isn’t he?” Pac-Man asked.
Rubin quickly cut back at the progressive commentator, saying most parents want to protect their daughters and don’t care what adults do in their private lives. (Related: College volleyball coach suspended after comment about transgender player on team)

“Oh my god, you’re such a smug troublemaker. Listen, most parents actually want to protect their daughters and want their daughters to get the crap kicked out of them by boys.” “And we don’t want them playing soccer or anything like that. That’s a girl’s defense,” Rubin added.
“If someone, as an 18-year-old or a 21-year-old adult, can talk about their age, want to wear whatever clothes they want, have surgery, take any medication, do whatever they want to their body. Most people, including Republicans, aren’t against it,” Rubin said.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have expressed concerns about male participation in women’s sports as young women continue to speak out against biological male participation. Parents have also voiced their opposition, with a group suing the Bow School District in New Hampshire in October after students were punished and threatened for “silent protests” in support of girls’ sports.
