The family of a Flagstaff woman who went missing in late June and was later found dead has set up a GoFundMe to support her two children.
Authorities say 45-year-old Kelly Padukowski was a victim of domestic violence after her husband, Daniel Padukowski, reported her missing on June 30 and her body was discovered five days later.
Days after authorities confirmed Kelly Padukowski was dead, The victim's family has set up a GoFundMe.
The donation page states that funds are being raised to help support Kelly's two elementary school-aged children, and that as Kelly's family currently has custody of the children, the funds will go towards childcare and education expenses.
Kelly's body was discovered by Flagstaff authorities around 10 a.m. on Friday, June 5. Kelly's husband, Daniel Padukowski, was arrested two days after the investigation into Kelly's disappearance began.
Police said he was cooperative during questioning and led police to Kelly's body, her cell phone, her keys and the weapon allegedly used in the murder.
Authorities say Daniel Padukowski agreed to plead guilty to second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, attempted concealment of a body and possession of a controlled substance.
