‘Going To Be A Game-Changer’: Homan Breaks Down Key Details On Trump’s Upcoming Executive Orders To Tighten Borders

Tom Homan appeared on FOX Business on Monday to discuss President Donald Trump’s executive actions aimed at increasing border security.

Monaka exterior On “Evening Edit,” Homan shared some of the key details about President Trump’s plan to strengthen the border. Homan also said he was disappointed that the media had not covered the alarming rise in human trafficking. He said the exploitation of women and children has increased by 600%, and the number of people on terrorist watch lists attempting to enter the United States has increased by a staggering 3,500%.

“He’s going to end catch-and-release.” When asked about President Trump’s executive order, Homan said he’s going to block the CBP One app, which is being abused by people claiming fraudulent asylum claims.

Homan said President Trump intends to classify Mexican drug cartels as terrorist organizations, adding that they play a significant role in the drug crisis and the deaths of countless Americans. “Mexican drug cartels have killed more Americans than all terrorist organizations combined,” Homan said. “These are the things he’s signing, and he’s hanging his hat on. It’s going to be a game-changer for this administration. We’re going to secure our borders at the highest level we’ve ever had.”

Mr. Homan outlined the border challenges and threats to the country.

“The death toll of foreign nationals crossing the border is at a historic high, more than 4,000 under this administration. People have died. Sex trafficking of women and children has increased by 600%. A record number of people have been placed on terrorist watchlists. Terrorist watchlists have increased by 3,500%. Homan said.

Homan then recalled what he had said about the effectiveness of border policy under the first Trump administration.

“During President Trump, 90% of the cases were scheduled for reprieve. With 90% fewer people coming, how many women are not sexually assaulted? Women and children who are not trafficked. How many Americans don’t die because of border security? They didn’t die from fentanyl. Secure borders save lives,” Homan said.

Mr. Homan addressed the role of the media and expressed dissatisfaction with the coverage of border security issues.

“Absolutely not. That’s what this network is about,” Homan said when asked if he felt American media was covering border issues. “Fox does that, but most media doesn’t. They’ve covered the border crisis. Look, they’ve never talked about this out-of-control border, but about the deaths from fentanyl. We will talk about it, but we won’t talk about the causes. Fentanyl deaths are out of control. This is a story that has been hidden for four years.”

In his inaugural address in the Capitol Rotunda on Monday, President Trump proclaimed a new “Golden Age” for the United States and promised to dismantle the policies of his predecessor, Joe Biden. When he took the oath of office as the 47th president, Trump said he would take America to unparalleled heights that would surely make it the envy of nations around the world.

President Trump said he would issue several executive orders, including ending catch-and-release, reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy and declaring a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border.
