Oh no! Not our John!

Golf legend John Daly recently required emergency surgery on his hand, and the native American legend shared the nerve-wracking news on his Instagram with a photo of John Daly being taken from a Florida hospital. Shared on gram.

“Emergency hand surgery…thank you” [it] It went very well and Dr. McClimans took good care of me. Please come visit us again soon! ” I wrote Daily.

In another post, which tagged the location of Tampa, Florida, Daley expressed gratitude to the medical professionals who performed the surgery. He then vowed to return to the golf course “soon.” (Related: Southern California golf course located right near Rose Bowl Stadium destroyed by wildfires)

“Thank you Doc McClimans for getting me back on my feet!” Daly wrote. “I’m sure we’ll attack again soon! Thank you for all your messages.”

Daley also received love from: pga tour champion.

“We wish John Daly a speedy recovery!” he tweeted about the tour for golfers over 50.

I think we all agree that nothing is going to happen to John Daly, he is too valuable to the sport of golf.

Don’t get me wrong, we humans have a shelf life and we’re all too aware that we’re going to die someday, but John Daly is just one of those people who has to live for a while. In light of this, I never want to see the words “John Daly” and “emergency surgery” in the same headline again.
