April is now recognized as the Arizona Community College Month in Arizona, thanks to a proclamation signed by Governor Katie Hobbs this week. It is one of the community college districts. Residents of the City of Lake Havasu don’t need a governor’s proclamation reminding them how important community colleges are to the city’s success. Universities like MCC are important building blocks for small rural communities like Havasu. They are huge economic drivers in small towns, often top employers, and a key piece of the puzzle for educational attainment.
The City of Lake Havasu and Mojave County are fortunate that MCC has served their educational needs for over 50 years. By the way, MCC is recruiting students for summer semester and fall semester. For more information, please visit the following URL: Apply.Mohave.edu.
