The Wisconsin Department of Legislative Audit has found that multiple state agencies and the University of Wisconsin (UW) system were unable to track millions of dollars in spending for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

The report on UW systems estimated that there are costs in three categories, but warned that the estimated amount cannot be summed up due to overlap.
