Potlatch Gordon Lee Killian, 62, died at his home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from complications related to prostate cancer.

Born on April 2, 1961 in Othello, Washington to Lorin Dennis and Donna (Roylance) Killian, he attended Othello High School and graduated in 1979. He then attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho from 1979 until he was 1980, and from 1982-1983.

Gordon met and married Lisa Brazzard on June 23, 1983 in Seattle.

Gordon and Lisa lived in several places throughout their lives. Rexburg, Idaho (1982-1983); Othello, Washington (1983-1984 and 1993-2002); Gresham, Oregon (1984-1986); Troutdale, Oregon (1986-87); New, Oregon Berg (1987)), Lewiston, Idaho (1987-88), Missoula, Mont (1988-89), Walla Walla, WA (1989), Spokane, WA (1989-1991), Orem, UT (1991), Kennewick, WA (1991-92), Issaquah, WA (1992-93), Ritzville, WA (March 2002-July 2022) and Potlatch, Idaho (July 1, 2022-July 25, 2023) ).

Gordon has owned and operated many businesses throughout his marriage, but for the past 25 years he has worked at Northwest Farm Credit (formerly Sloan-Leavitt Insurance) in Othello, Washington, in various capacities in the crop insurance division. was

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served as the church’s full-time missionary, serving the Navajo Nation in Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. From his 1995 he served as Bishop of Othello 1st Ward until 2002. Gordon also served as president of the Adams County Mosquito Commission, of which from 2002 he was a member until 2022, and from 2014 he also served as co-chair of the Ritzville Distinguished Young Women Program through 2021.

Gordon is left with a wife, Lisa, from Potlatch. Son Drew Killian (Lara) lives in West Richland, Washington; son Dustin Killian (Natalie) lives in Ritzville; daughter Destry Hurst (Riley) lives in Moscow; daughter Draney Hepworth (Judd) lives in Fort Worth, Texas; Daughter Devon Killian of Fort Worth; Daughter Davis Dos Anjos (Daniel) of Orlando, Florida; Daughter Darrin Flores (Emilio) of Clovis, California; Son Dallas Killian (Doane) of Rexburg; Dakota Killian. His parents, L. Dennis and Donna Killian. Twin brother Spence (Lisa), Kennewick, sister Joanna Miller (David), Othello, sister Krista Jensen (Sherry), Beaverton, Oregon, sister Laura Allen (Chuck), Ephrata, Washington, sister Shanna Stuckeland ( Parish), in Royal City, Washington; brother Lorin Killian, in New York City; brother Elden Killian (Jamie), in Pasco; brother Nick Killian (Megan), in Ephrata; lives in Taylor; and has 25 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Elden Killian and Beryl Blanche Walker. His maternal grandparents are George Roylance and Mabel Valentine. Sister Sandra Killian and nephew Preston Killian.

A private viewing will be held Saturday, August 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a traditional funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at The Othello Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1200 E. Rainier St. will be Othello. Bishop Jim Gilbert officiates.
