“Grab That Blood-Stained Microphone”: Ben Shapiro Promises to Continue Public Appearances in Tribute to Charlie Kirk

Ben Shapiro to Continue University Tours

Ben Shapiro, an editor at Daily Wire, has announced his plans to keep touring university campuses, emphasizing that he will not be silenced by efforts to suppress conservative viewpoints.

Following the death of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, there were speculations about Shapiro potentially stepping back from campus appearances. However, he made it clear that he intends to honor Kirk’s legacy and persist in the fight for conservative values.

“I’m visiting college campuses this year. I’ll be at many of them. We’re all Americans, and we won’t be deterred. Charlie’s voice is not gone. He left behind a legacy that we will carry on,” Shapiro stated firmly.

He continued, “We will keep speaking the truth. We won’t hesitate or stop engaging in debate about what America is and what it should be. Charlie’s influence will remain alive.”

In an impassioned statement, he addressed opponents directly: “For anyone trying to silence us, I have two words: forget you.” He reiterated the commitment to continue confronting issues boldly.

Reports state that Kirk was tragically killed by an assassin who fired from a rooftop 200 yards away using a high-powered rifle. Authorities found weapons in nearby wooded areas along with cartridges that carried messages linked to transgender issues and pro-Antifa sentiments.

The FBI in Salt Lake City released the assailant’s images and offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the capture. The suspect is described as a young man in a black sweatshirt, wearing a hat emblazoned with an American flag and sunglasses.

In the wake of Kirk’s assassination, some individuals on the left responded with celebration or blamed the rising political violence on President Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee State made headlines for firing former dean Laura Sosh Litesy after she expressed a lack of sympathy for Kirk’s death.

At the University of Michigan, Charles HF Assistant Professor Davis referred to Kirk’s assassination as a “solution” arising from the “violent rhetoric” promoted by empowered individuals. MSNBC terminated political analyst Matthew Dowd after he suggested that Kirk’s rhetoric might have contributed to his own death.

In a show of support, Trump announced his intention to posthumously award Kirk the President’s Medal of Freedom, while Vice President JD Vance coordinated for Kirk’s memorial service to fly aboard Air Force 2 with his friends and family.
