Grand Canyon Brewery expands operations to Kingman | Williams-Grand Canyon News

WILLIAMS, Arizona — Award-winning Grand Canyon Brewery and Distillery is coming to Kingman.

Taking over what was formerly known as Rickety Cricket in downtown Kingman, John Peasley owner and founder of Grand Canyon Brewery is now rebranding the space and reopening the first week of March I am preparing. Rebranding started on February 14th.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to expand our brand into Kingman,” said Peasley.

“The community there has already welcomed us with open arms and we can’t wait to bring our brand to the downtown area.”

The historic building in downtown Kingman is just under 10,000 square feet and features an existing 7-barrel brewery where the Grand Canyon team can brew their popular handcrafted beers.

“We could go in there and start brewing,” said Peasley.

Guests can look forward to a variety of comfort foods such as draft beers, cocktails with an emphasis on Arizona spirits, burgers, pizza, and barbecue.

This space includes a large patio, retail space, pool table, horseshoes, shuffleboard, arcade and cornhole.

With stores in Williams, Arizona, Flagstaff, Page, and Kingman, it’s clear that Peasley enjoys catering to small towns.

“We go to these small towns and start working with the local communities, whether it’s athletic clubs, police departments, fire departments. “I think it really all started with the opportunity that the small town of Williams gave me. because it all started here.”

Grand Canyon Brewery and Distillery is a family-owned craft brewery that produces over a dozen craft brews each year. In 2017, we started distilling craft spirits such as vodka, rum, gin and whiskey. Most recently, they launched a line of ready-to-drink canned cocktails. Their handcrafted products are inspired by the breathtaking scenery and adventurous lifestyle of Williams, Arizona. The Peasley family also owns and operates Cruiser’s Restaurant in Williams.

Peasley is currently focused on opening in Kingman, but still has sights on expanding to more locations in the future.

“I’m sure we’ll add several properties over the next ten years. My goal is one every year or two,” he said.

Announcements and updates regarding Kingman’s location can be found on the Grand Canyon Brewery and Distillery’s social media pages.
