Grand Canyon Region High School Basketball Teams Set For Post Season Runs – KAFF News – Flagstaff

The 4A high school basketball playoffs will be set after slots are announced Saturday morning. The Flagstaff Eagles women's basketball team will begin the postseason in the open bracket as the No. 11 seed. They will host No. 22 seed Deer Valley on Tuesday night at War Memorial Gymnasium. The Coconino Panthers advance to the 4A play-in round as the 19th seed. They are scheduled to travel to Prescott on Thursday night to take on the 16th-seeded Badgers. Mingus played Sahuarita at home, and Bradshaw Mountain was the last team to travel to Eastmark. On the men's side, Prescott is competing in the open bracket as the No. 24 seed. They are scheduled to head to Phoenix to face No. 9 seed Brophy on Wednesday. Flagstaff and Coconino both advanced to the play-in round. The 22nd-seeded Eagles will play 13th-seeded AZ College Prep in Chandler on Friday night, while 20th-seeded Coconino will face 15th-seeded Paradise Honors. Also, 17th-seeded Bradshaw Mountain will play 18th-seeded Seton Catholic at Prescott Valley on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
