Pinal County Public Works provided the schedule for the remaining work on the Hunt Highway and Arizona Farms Intersection project. Residents are advised to anticipate changes in traffic patterns and possible delays in these areas.
On July 25, workers pave the rest of Arizona Farms Road. This task requires a flagger operation and may cause temporary traffic delays. Drivers are expected to be patient and follow the caller’s instructions to ensure their own safety and that of construction workers.
Additionally, from July 24th to July 26th, a slurry seal will be applied to Hunt Highway in the Magic Ranch area of Santan Valley. This procedure requires lane shifts and intermittent flagger maneuvers. Drivers are advised to remain vigilant, prepare for unforeseen traffic changes, and adhere to posted speed limits. Slurry seals are an important step in maintaining and preserving our roads, and the County appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.
Finally, on July 26th, a new temporary traffic light will go into operation at the intersection of Hunt Highway and Arizona Farms. This improves traffic flow and increases safety at busy intersections. An off-duty police officer is on-site to assist with the driver’s transition and ensure a smooth process.
The Pinal County Public Works Department remains committed to improving road infrastructure in Santan Valley. While these necessary improvements may cause temporary inconvenience, the long-term benefits to safety and traffic flow will be significant.
Residents are requested to allow extra time for commuting during the construction period, or consider alternative routes if possible. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and patiently, prioritizing the safety of both construction workers and other road users.
