NatureSweet has added another location to its portfolio of greenhouse facilities and has begun planting and growing crops in Bonita, Arizona, located in Graham County.
The agricultural producer plans to hire approximately 250 farm workers and invest more than $5 million in the facility over the next three years. The investment marks the expansion of the brand, known for growing fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, into the United States.
NatureSweet celebrated the ribbon cutting yesterday with Graham County, the City of Safford, the City of Wilcox, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, the Arizona Department of Commerce, and industry and community leaders.
“Arizona is proud to celebrate this new production facility in Graham County,” said Governor Katie Hobbs. “With this investment, NatureSweet will create hundreds of quality jobs in rural Arizona and strengthen Arizona's vital agriculture industry.”

NatureSweet began its business by growing D'Vines cherry tomatoes, which are harvested and packaged on the vine, and then grows other conventional and Expand into organic products. His more than $5 million investment from the company will stimulate economic growth in rural southern Arizona and promote sustainable development and opportunity in local communities.
