There's a reason they call it “The Show”!
Just hours after being recalled from the Columbus Clippers (Triple-A), the Guardians' prospect John Kensy Noel He hit a home run Wednesday night against the Baltimore Orioles, but even more special, he did it in his first major league at-bat. In the bottom of the second inning of the game, Noel was thrown a 1-1 pitch; Grayson RodriguezHe smashed it home to give the Guards a 1-0 lead. But that wasn't the only fun Noel had. Before the home run, the 22-year-old accidentally raised his bat on his first swing, sending the ball hurtling 100 feet and landing near third base.
On the next pitch, Noel cut the ball off and hit it over the center field wall for a home run estimated to have traveled 413 feet.
