Kamala Harris’ campaign kicked a prominent Muslim political leader out of an event in Michigan on Monday, in what may be one of the dumbest moves of this election season.
Dr. Ahmed Ghanim, a Democrat who previously ran for Congress in Michigan’s 11th District. I received an invitation to the Royal Oak event where Harris spoke with neocon warmonger Liz Cheney. But campaign organizers apparently kicked him out of the event for no apparent reason, and Ganim says he has yet to receive any response. “She walked me to the door and closed it, and I saw two police officers waiting there. And she said, ‘You have to leave now.’ ” said Ganim. said Metro Times. “I asked her why she was kicking me out. She didn’t answer. I very calmly asked her why she was kicking me out.”
“I was just wearing a suit and a white shirt. I said, ‘Okay,’ and I walked away. “The officer said, ‘If you don’t leave right now, I’m going to put you in the back seat of my car,'” he said.

“Our campaign deplores this action and its impact on Dr. Ganim and the community, and we welcome him to future events. We value our relationship with the Muslim American community. “We strive to ensure that all communities and political spaces are welcoming and respectful to all Americans,” the Harris campaign said. said said in a statement to 7 News Detroit.
Despite the apology, this is a dire situation for a campaign that currently lags behind President Trump among Arab Americans, according to a new poll. Would you kick a prominent Muslim Democrat out of an event that spotlights support from a politician that all Muslim Americans probably hate: Liz Cheney? The sheer stupidity and complete lack of political instinct is almost breathtaking. President Trump can smell blood in the water, but the Harris campaign is doing themselves no favors.
