Nothing says “peaceful transition of power” like barbed wire, barricades, and military. That’s what the federal government is doing with your tax dollars, even though no threat has been shown.
January 6th of this year marks the 4th anniversary of “January 6th”. Who can forget the 2021 Biden Inauguration? Chief Justice John Roberts picked up a Bible to swear Joe Biden in, raised his hand and began the oath by saying, “I, Joe Biden.” Biden said, “No, I’m Joe Biden!”
This week’s festival in Washington was hit by heavy winter snow. Children were having a snowball fight near the Capitol. It is still unclear how many FBI agents were involved on either side of the investigation. Four years after J6, many protesters remain in solitary confinement. Although the transition of power from Biden to Trump occurred peacefully, political Washington is putting taxpayer assets at exorbitant risk at a time when it is itself under protest. We spent hundreds of millions of dollars prosecuting and incarcerating Duck Dynasty-type people who protested.
When Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots were burning cities, government buildings, and people’s businesses across America, our politicians deployed the National Guard and spent millions on billboards. I don’t remember that.
For context, BLM vs. J6: The BLM riots lasted 7 months, but the January 6th riot lasted 3 hours. There have been over 20 murders committed by BLM protesters, but none in J6. BLM destroyed hundreds of businesses and caused $1 billion to $2 billion in damages. J6 brought in $1.5 million. BLM protesters assault 2,037 police officers. J6 attacked 140 metropolitan police officers. BLM protesters were released on bail after spending little if any time in jail. Many J6 protesters are still awaiting trial or in solitary confinement.
It was an immense response, and the nation recognized it. This week, D.C. police said they were “not aware of any credible threats.” But our snowflake politicians installed eight-foot-tall anti-scaling fences and increased police protection. There’s a lot of your money that they don’t want to spend on themselves.
Remember, the man who will “end democracy” and “Hitler” is coming to town, and that is Donald Trump. Next is Elon Musk, Hitler’s aide. You can never be too careful. (Related: Heart: Looking back at 2024 and 2025)
Washington has more military and police protecting politicians than any other conflict zone in the world, all in an overreaction to a few knuckleheads rampaging through the Capitol.
Democrats spent $9 billion to build perhaps one EV charging station. Biden spent $42 billion on broadband in “underserved” areas, where no one is currently connected. But will they be able to erect fences soon to protect themselves from threats both real and imagined?
Self-absorbed career politicians should go. I have long supported term limits and feel that elected officials like Schumer, “Plug” Biden, and Pelosi should not serve multiple terms with facial plastic surgery and hair transplants.
Pelosi, Schumer, Bernie Sanders and Hillary are veteran party leaders. For the millennials out there, here’s a teachable moment. When these four came through the ranks of Sen. Robert Byrd’s Democratic Party, the Democratic Party was the Confederacy and erected all the statues you’ve been tearing down. Please check it out.

Democrats say fences don’t work at the border and we shouldn’t have guns. Well, they have a lot of fences and guns around them.
They should care more about Bourbon Street in New Orleans and not be shocked that a man who killed 14 people dared to drive on the sidewalk. It’s been another bad year for the FBI as it botched its response to the Bourbon Street attack, saying it was “not a terrorist attack.” Last year, McDonald’s elected more presidents and arrested more shooters than the FBI.
But we have Jimmy Carter lying in peace. This week, viewers will file past the body of a former president praying for peace. I don’t know what they’ll say about Jimmy Carter.
It will be up to Mr. Trump and his team to engage the other side and stop the country from heading toward civil war. If that happens, I’ll bet south. We have a lot of guns, great athletes, and a lot of reenactors who have been collecting and practicing this for decades for wars we lost.
