Democrat California Rep. Robert Garcia appeared on CNN on Wednesday to call for “actual weapons” against Elon Musk, suggesting it as a necessary measure to protect democracy.
in exterior In “CNN News Central,” Garcia urged fellow Democrats to escalate his approach to what he perceives as a threat to the democratic values brought about by masks.
“Well, he’s a penis and I think he’s also hurting the American public in a huge way. I’m really important and it’s that the American people bring real weapons to this bar battle. That’s what we think we want,” Garcia said when asked if personal attacks on masks were an effective strategy. “This is an actual battle for democracy for the future of this country, and it is important to push back the chairman of this committee.”
Garcia also targeted Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, criticising her politeness and bipartisan appeal.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene talks about bipartisanship and politeness. This is more than anyone else in the whole of Congress. If she’s going to laugh at the hearing, we’re the Democrats, and I’m I want to make sure they bring the same level of energy.
Garcia then mentioned mask attempts to dismantle major federal sectors such as workers and education, as well as key federal sectors such as consumer protection agencies.
“We’ve entered exactly what Elon Musk is trying to do. We’re going to dismantle the Department of Labor, we’re going to dismantle the Department of Education, we’re going to dismantle all of the consumer protection agencies. That’s all important, but the American people. It’s also important to get the attention of Elon Musk and make it into what he is Marjorie Taylor Greene is not a serious lawmaker and people know that she shouldn’t be treated that way.” Garcia added.
