A statue of Dwyane Wade was unveiled by the Miami Heat on Sunday to honor the legend, but, well… it’s not going well in terms of response. If you look at the NBA world, the Heat are relentlessly abused by fans, but as a Miami fan, I can tell you they deserve it. At a ceremony outside Miami’s Caseya Center, the Heat organization honored Wade by unveiling a statue of him (if you want to call it that), but when people first saw it on social media, no one had the same impression. anything like him literallythere is nothing like him.
Heat’s idea was to imitate Wade’s “This Is My House” for a momentbut looks like a completely different person, and just… what the heck?
