“Her background is not what you'd call American. She doesn't have a background of being self-made. I mean, I think she comes from a relatively well-off family,” Carville said. “I mean, a college professor doesn't starve to death. I don't know. She can talk about that, but I don't think her background is in a way that would allow her to win this case. I don't mind her talking about what she's been through.”
“If I were her, I would probably talk more about how, based on my past experiences, being a consumer advocate as attorney general and being tough on crime as district attorney seems to be in vogue, if I may say so myself. I've never been a pro-crime guy,” he added with a laugh.
