WASHINGTON – Confirmation of President Donald Trump’s cabinet pick is moving at warp speed with Senator’s floor votes and appearances on others before a Senate panel this week.
Members of Trump’s Cabinet are important to implement his sweeping GOP agenda. This was already beginning to jump out of the floods with widespread executive orders, shortly after taking the oath on January 20th.
Last week, the US Senate confirmed: Marco Rubio As Secretary of State. John Ratcliffe As a CIA director. Pete Hegses As Secretary of Defense. And before South Dakota Governor Christy Noem As Secretary of Homeland Security.
In a historic vote, Vice President JD Vance rejected Hegses on Friday after Alaska’s Officer Lisa Markowski, Maine’s Susan Collins and Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell voted against his GOP colleagues. I had to tear my tie.
Heggs, a veteran and former Fox News host, has taken a fever over allegations surrounding sexual misconduct, alcohol abuse and financial mismanagement.
But this week, the GOP-controlled Senate could be at even greater risk this week. The multiple cabinet picks set to testify were because they frowned upon between the senators on either side of the aisle.
Below is what you’ll expect from Trump’s cabinet picks this week.

Meanwhile, former Hawaii U.S. Rep. Tarshi Gabbard will sit in front of the Senate Selection Committee as she aims to become the director of national intelligence.
Gabbard is perhaps Trump’s most vulnerable candidate. She faces criticism of her views on foreign policy and encounters with exiled Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. She is also facing charges Amplify Russian propaganda.
