There is one situation here!
Travel to Virginia. There, high school athletics escalated to violence after athletes were told they attacked the enemy by blowing their heads with a baton in the middle of a relay race.
Brookville High School athlete Karen Tucker was the runner in the second round. 4x22m relay Friday was held at Liberty University for the VHSL Class 3 State Indoor Championship. In a close contest for the second place position, the junior was about to enter the inner lane while playing the rounds on turn 4. Well, while all that continued, the IC Norcom High School opponent ended up destroying Tucker at the back of her head with her baton.
IC Norcom was issued a disqualification from the relay race, and Tucker was diagnosed with a concussion and a potential skull fracture.
You can check out the wild video of the incident here.
Now I’m not about to be slapped or fired from work in a lawsuit, so I’m told I’ll cover my ass, but if all this is true it’s holy hell (and you can be a judge of it on the video)…
…What punish a teenage girl for something like this? Prohibited? Or is it too extreme?
