Congress, AZ (AZFamily) — A wildfire is burning in western Yavapai County and residents in two communities near Congress have been told to prepare for evacuations.
The Hillside Fire is burning about three miles north of Congress, near Ghost Town Road, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
As of 1 p.m. Thursday, the fire had burned 807 acres.

Firefighters are working hard to put the fire out in the northeast part of the area.
The fire currently poses a threat to five homes, with approximately 43 other homes under “SET” pre-evacuation.

Earlier in the evening, authorities reported multiple fires in the area, including one near Baghdad airport, and multiple units were on the scene battling the blazes.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
