The San Rafael Police Department (SRPD) announced in a statement on Facebook that a prostitute streamed her mother's alleged murder on Facebook Live on Monday.

The Marin County Medical Examiner pronounced Olivia Lucia Beltrán Pacheco dead shortly after she was taken to the hospital, according to SRPD. SRPD said hospital staff were unable to revive the victim due to his severe injuries.
SRPD said police worked with Facebook parent company Meta to remove the victim's alleged murder video.
The Press Democrat reported that the day before the alleged murder, Beltran recorded a 10-minute video at the Santa Rosa Police Department as he and his mother went to retrieve their car after it was seized during a vehicle pursuit.
