The suspect allegedly threatened at Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) headquarters reportedly surrendered to authorities Wednesday afternoon.
Fairfax County Police (FCPD) announced Wednesday morning that there was a barricade incident at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
The department later notified the public that the suspect had surrendered to a police negotiator and is currently in custody, according to a tweet from the FCPD. (Related: Trump administration will release JFK assassination file)

Update: The barricade case has been resolved. The suspect surrendered to the FCPD negotiator and is in custody.

Fairfax County officials told the outlet that the CIA was at the forefront of the investigation while the SWAT team provided assistance.
The threat has led to a massive presence in police on the scene, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Fairfax County Police Bomb Force. ABC7 said.

The suspicious threat came after the release of more than 60,000 pages of documents relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
