Hunter’s Army hosts family event at Britain Farms

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The Hunter’s Army hosted a free family-friendly event at Britain Farms on Saturday. Hosted by the FTS Automotive Center, the event started at 9am and ran until 1pm.

There was food, drink, fun activities, live music, and a live auction during the event, with proceeds going to Hunter’s Army. This is to help children with various forms of cancer.

Andrea Priest, co-founder of Hunter’s Army, shared why this event is important to her.

“In 2017, our youngest son, Hunter, was diagnosed with stage 3 Wilms tumor, a form of kidney cancer. That’s when we realized Yuma is a generous community. I knew I had grown up in a bridge that needed to be connected,” Priest said.

Priest added, “When the hunters get better, we gather around the families that follow us, come to them and support them financially, support them emotionally, and be in their corner in a material way.” They were fighting.”

In addition, first responders and bike and car clubs attended the event to show off their vehicles. If you want to know more about the Hunter’s Army, here.
