The wait is over.
Huntsville's newest music mega-festival, South Star, has announced its highly anticipated setlist, and while many of the artists participating are household names, some are less well-known, but their performances often rival the event's more well-known acts.
According to South Star, the full list of musicians scheduled to perform at the festival includes Blink-182, Gwen Stefani, Shinedown, Jane's Addiction, Jimmy Eat World, TLC, Juvenile, Gin Blossoms, Candlebox, Dexter, Winona Fighter, Beck, Sublime, Goo Goo Dolls, Ludacris, Big Boi, Pete Yorn, Vanessa Carlton and Bully Billy Allen and the Pollies.

The festival is set to take place at John Hunt Park in Huntsville on Sept. 28 and 29. It will feature two stages and a sports bar for college football fans.
Advance tickets for South Star Music Festival will go on sale April 25, with general sales starting April 26. One-day and two-day tickets are available.
Prices start at $224 for a two-day general admission ticket and $139 for a one-day general admission ticket, rising to $925 for a one-day ticket and $1,395 for a two-day “platinum” ticket.
