FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Drivers in northern Arizona should expect delays after a crash between Flagstaff and Winslow closed Interstate 40 in both directions for several hours. As of 12:10 p.m., the road had reopened.
The Arizona Department of Transportation announced just after 10 a.m. Monday that the highway was closed at milepost 234 east of Flagstaff.
According to the Public Safety Bureau, the vehicle struck a utility pole, causing the pole and power lines to fall onto the highway. No injuries were reported.
