Pop superstar Beyoncé just released the first country single of her storied career, “Texas Hold'em,” and it's a real treat.
First of all, let me say that I'm not a big Beyoncé fan. She has some good songs. Hello It's a banger. However, her entire discography is not my cup of tea.
But this is a different hit.

The single marks Billboard's first official foray into the country world. announced “Texas Hold'em” debuted at number 54 on the country charts.

Queen B released a single on Tuesday, along with a slow country track titled “I Love You”.16 vehicles”, referring to the Super Bowl Sunday Verizon commercial that teased her upcoming album.
Beyoncé announced on Instagram that the second installment of her promised three-part project, “Act II,” will be released on March 29th. (Related: Your favorite pop star is probably working on a country album)
If the album was anything like Texas Hold'em, I'd definitely listen to it.

And there's a gazillion percent chance that Taylor Swift will be featured on that album, right? Taylor is one of the biggest names in music, pop culture, and even sports. She sucked the air out of her room so much that Beyoncé had little choice but to join her in the country genre. If you can't beat them, join them. Please stop playing Texas Hold'em.
