‘I Just Won My First Grammy!’: Miley Cyrus Deftly Celebrates Her Win While Performing

Miley Cyrus celebrated her first Grammy win on Sunday by performing “Flowers” live on stage at Crypto Arena in Los Angeles.

Just before the performance, Cyrus was called on stage by Mariah Carey to accept the award for Best Pop Solo Performance. Cyrus didn't have much time before performing the song in front of the audience, so she prepared a little celebration for herself midway through her set. The famous singer changed the lyrics and exclaimed, “I just won my first Grammy Award!” and threw her hands up in the air.

The moment Cyrus appeared on stage, the audience was on its feet. The standing ovation that lasted until the end of her song turned into rumbling cheers as she turned her lyrics into a sweet one, proud of her victory. Cyrus wasn't the only one shocked by her win. Taylor Swift, whom she beat in that category, also couldn't help but smile and show her support. Swift showed her support for Cyrus by raising her glass in the air and dancing excitedly.
