Popular actress Heather Thomas of the 80s said she left Hollywood after a “scary” encounter with a stalker.
She opened about Dark Side of Fame following her success with “Still Here Hollywood” podcast on March 17th and “The Fall Guy” with Steve Kmetko.
“I was just getting a lot of stalkers,” Thomas said.
She told Kmetko that she handles at least two stalkers each week, but it was all too much. “I had a lot of restraint orders. I had two little girls, one jumping through our gates with a huge back knife,” she said.

“At the time, I don’t know if this is true now, but people will stick. You can be in soap commercials and they will stick to you. And there weren’t many stalker laws,” she said.
Thomas explained that he endured a series of disturbing situations involving stalkers before he decided to leave Hollywood in the ’90s.
“Someone sent me a box of bullets, and people sent me funeral wreaths that I stole from the cemetery,” she said.

The actress admitted that she felt unsafe in her home.
“I always had a bodyguard at home because that’s because I didn’t want to go back to the dark house,” she said. Thomas recalls the violent exchanges he felt scared her safety.
“A man cut out the screen into the bedroom overnight and shot him,” she said. She went on to explain that rock salt and birds were being shot with firearms. Thomas is still unsure if the intruder went to prison. (Related: An intrusive video shows tennis star Emma Radukanu sobing after seeing the stalker in the crowd)
