‘I Stopped Listening A Long Time Ago’: Cowboys’ Dak Prescott Keeps It Real And Gets Chippy With His Owner Jerry Jones

Dammit, Duck! Tell me how you really feel!

Jerry Jones, the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, is a very good talker when it comes to talking to the press. Jerry is a very good talker. But he talks and talks and talks, especially when it comes to talking to the press, and he doesn't actually say anything.

Well, it sounds like the Cowboys' superstar quarterback. Dak Prescott I feel the same way.

Prescott said during his post-practice press conference Thursday that he doesn't take what Jones says to reporters too seriously. (Related: Buffalo Joe is just an average guy who's living the dream by making the Bills roster)

Jones recently spoke about Prescott's current contract situation.

“Dak's situation right now, in my eyes in the mirror, has more to do with where we are than it does with the accomplishments of Dak Prescott being the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys,” Jones said.

Asked about those comments Thursday, Prescott gave no indication of how he felt.

“Yeah, I understand that. It's a business and the nature of this game that we play,” Prescott told ESPN's Todd Archer. “Yeah, I stopped listening to what he says to the media a long time ago, to be honest with you. It doesn't really matter to me.”

So Duck is right. I can't believe he actually said that. (LOL)
