Just hours after being released from prison on Wednesday, the crowd at the Republican National Convention (RNC) rose to their feet and cheered when Peter Navarro appeared on stage.
The former White House aide to President Trump made a dramatic appearance and spoke at the Republican National Convention shortly after being released from a federal prison in Miami. share The audience at the Republican National Convention cheered as Navarro spoke, according to Daily Caller reporter Reagan Reese. “This morning, I got out of federal prison. If they can get me, if they can get Donald Trump, watch out, they will get you,” Navarro said in his speech. “Here's how I got in prison: First the Legislature got me. Your favorite Democrat, Nancy Pelosi, created your favorite committee, the phony January 6th Committee, and demanded that I violate executive privilege. What did I do? I refused.”
Navarro's remarks came with sharp criticism of the Biden administration, accusing it of allowing criminals to cross the southern border and arguing that Democrats are indoctrinating children with harmful ideas about race and gender. “Loafers are real. Loafers are wrong. We shouldn't be acting like Communist China or a banana republic. But that's the growing perception of our justice system,” Navarro told the Caller.
