‘I’m Mad’: James Carville Predicts There Could Be ‘Uprising Within The Democratic Party’ In Coming Months

Democratic strategist James Kerrville predicted on Tuesday that there could be a “inside the Democratic uprising” in the coming months if the “plan” of top lawmakers do not bring results.

Democrats are facing record declines, but Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer and House minority leader Hakem Jeffries have been criticising for not leading their party effectively. Kerrville said in the “Situation Room” that he was angry with his own party after losing to President Donald Trump in November. “I’m mad at Democrats… when you lose the election – the party exists for just one reason and one reason. It’s about winning the election. We lost,” Kerrville said. “But there’s nothing lasting about this, I’ll remind the Wisconsin Supreme Court. [race] It’s approaching. We got the huge Virginia governor race. They have legislative challenges. ”

The Democratic strategist said he rightly believes Schumer supports passing the GOP-backed government fundraising bill and avoids the partial closure that was ultimately passed Friday.

“And I think Senator Schumer is right. I think he and leader Jeffries are planning. And if this isn’t clear here in the next three or four months, then there’s going to be an uprising within the Democrats,” Kerrville said. “But I think we should give them a chance. Let’s see what their plans are and what their strategy is.”

Schumer said on “Morning Joe” Wednesday that his party’s duty was to reduce Trump’s popularity. He claimed that he and Jeffries were in line with the offensive plan.

“We are fighting every aspect to chasing Trump, not chasing him, especially when there are enemies like Trump, because Democrats tend to do it.

Kerrville added that he recently met with Jeffries, and said he was “full of hope” about the agenda that minority leaders share with Schumer.

“I had to tell you, I think there’s a good plan out there. I really do,” he said. “The best plan is not a good thing because there is no vote and no power.”

Trump’s approval rating equals the highest point across both terms of 47%. According to To the NBC News vote, which was released on Sunday.
