Border Emperor Tom Homan criticized Democrat New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Fox News on Wednesday for overlooking a massive decline in crime after the Trump administration sealed the border.
Ocasio-Cortez commented on Homan’s appearance on Fox News and other media outlets. There she said he and other law enforcement officials would divert resources from serious crime warfare. When he appeared in “Ingraham’s Angle,” Homan fought back by highlighting the effectiveness of his team’s efforts under the current administration.
“I am delighted with the fact that I can live my heart’s rent for free every day. That means I’m above my target. I mean I’m making a difference. The final line is that she needs to see the data,” Homan told host Laura Ingraham. “Ice is coming out. We’ve already arrested illegal foreigners for crimes in six weeks than the Biden administration did in a year.”
Homan pointed out that illegal immigration has dropped by 96%, claiming that these statistics have led to fewer crime cases.

How many suspected terrorists have not arrived in the country? How many pounds of fentanyl do you have to kill Americans? This administration has done more than she has done or ever did for the safety and security of New York,” Homan said.
Homan said the outcomes in securing borders and improving safety outweighed Ocasio-Cortez’s efforts.
“So we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing. I don’t run a popularity contest. If she doesn’t like me, I wear it as a badge of honor. That means I’m doing the right thing,” Homan said.
Ocasio-Cortez is aiming to fight Homan, who is targeting him in a live-streamed virtual event entitled “Ick with Ick with Your Rights” on his Facebook page. She also offers tips on her website on how to avoid federal agents, such as staying silent without opening the door. Homan called Ocasio-Cortez “a stupid lawmaker” because of his aggressive opposition to the ice operation. He warned that her advice to undocumented immigrants avoiding ice could lead to consequences.
