Independence Day Closures for Prescott Valley, Prescott, and Chino Valley

With Independence Day just around the corner, many city services will be closed in observance of the holiday. Below is a quick reference list of all Independence Day closures in Prescott Valley, Prescott and Chino Valley.

town of prescott valley

Prescott Valley City offices will be closed for Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th. We will be open as usual from July 5th.

The following facilities in the town of Prescott Valley will also be closed on July 4th and will reopen on July 5th with normal business hours:

  • civic center
  • Police station lobby and administration office. If it’s urgent, call 911, if it’s not urgent he should call 928-772-9267.
  • Prescott Valley Public Library

The City of Prescott will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th for Independence Day.City Hall will reopen Wednesday, July 5th at 8am

The Prescott Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th. The library will reopen on Wednesday, July 5th at 9am. Our wallless library offers e-books, online resources, streaming videos and more, available 24/7 at: www.prescottlibrary.info.

The Solid Waste Division will collect household waste and recyclables on Tuesday, July 4th. Please leave the container at the storefront by 6am. Commercial routes will also operate on a regular schedule.

Prescott City Interchange Station will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th. Transfer Stations will reopen on Wednesday, July 5th from 8am to 4pm. Remember to cover and pack all shipments when transporting to the relay station.

Chino Valley City offices will be closed for Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th. City Hall will reopen as usual on July 5th.

Facilities in the town of Chino Valley are also closed.

  • The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce will be closed Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th, but will resume normal business hours on July 5th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • The Chino Valley Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th, but will reopen on July 5th with regular hours of 9am-6pm.
  • Senior Center: Closed but will reopen at regular hours on July 5th.

Yavapai County

The Yavapai County office, including the Arizona Superior Court, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, for Independence Day. All offices will reopen at normal business hours on Wednesday, July 5th.
