Canadian company Intrepid Metals Agreed to acquire 22 unpatented mining rights At the Corral Copper Project in Cochise County, Arizona, USA.
The property, collectively known as Sara Claim Group, is acquired from Arizona-based geologist Clive Bailey.
The acquisition will expand Intrepid Metals’ total land package on the project to 8,972 acres.
Under the transaction, Intrepid will pay the vendor $10,000 upon closing of the transaction and issue 100,000 shares of Intrepid common stock for Sara Claim Group.
This transaction is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
Intrepid CEO Ken Brophy said:
“We look forward to evaluating all the newly acquired data by our technical team as part of our ongoing effort to unlock value from the district-wide opportunities presented by the Coral Copper Project.”
Intrepid said there are no diamond drilling operations at Sara Claim Group.
Initial exploration consisted of trenching, grab and tip sampling, mapping, geophysical surveys, and geochemical work.
