‘Intrusion On The President’s Authority’: Bondi Rips Judge ‘Attempting To Meddle’ In Trump’s Deportation Powers

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondy called on Judge James E. Boasberg on Monday on Fox News to “attempt to interfere” in deporting President Donald Trump’s criminal immigrants.

Boasberg temporarily blocked his deportation on Saturday evening. On the same day, Trump called the 1798 Alien Enemy Act the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TDA), sending over 200 gang members to El Salvador. On “Jesse Watters Primetime,” guest host Junge Jeanine Pirro asked Bondi how the judges will make Trump’s power engage in “national security and foreign policy” and whether the administration will respect order in the future. “Well, that’s all. He’s trying to interfere in national security and diplomacy. He can’t do that,” Bondy said. “What he did is an invasion of the president’s authority. This federal judge once again believes he has control over the foreign policy of the entire country.

In a declaration released Saturday, Trump wrote that under the alien enemy law calls, TDA members will be quickly arrested and excluded from the US as they will be considered “an alien enemy.” Exactly 261 migrants were then deported to El Salvador, and 137 were excluded under the alien enemy law due to alleged gang bonds. Pillo continued to ask Bondi if the administration would continue to deport criminal immigrants.

“Absolutely,” Bondi said. “These are foreign terrorists that the President has identified and designated them, and we are following the alien enemy law.”
