The Clay Lithium Smoky Lithium property is located in Esmeralda County, an area rich in clay lithium deposits, 20 miles west of American Lithium’s flagship lithium project. Located about 20 miles north of the Clayton Valley, Silver Peak is home to the United States’ only lithium production operation, along with the nearby Norum, Spearmint and Enertopia projects. The property surrounds the Jinderley Clayton North property on three sides, has good access, and is on relatively flat ground.
The borehole location has been chosen to extend the strong lithium mineralization that will intersect with the first drilling program in 2022 at Hole 09 within the region of interest. His fourth hole in this program was specifically chosen to determine the strength of petrological correlations between holes 22-09 and holes 23-01, 02, and 03.
The Victory’s Exploration team determined that the most compelling hole location to drill was hole 23-05, 1 km WSW of hole 23-03. Core material from the completed holes is processed and he is shipped to ALS Reno for continuous analysis in order of completion of the holes. The company is awaiting analytical results from Hall 23-01.
