Edgar, the Daily Caller’s intrepid blue-puppet journalist, is back at it, asking Washington DC residents about Donald Trump’s Greenland initiative.

Was America’s most liberal city as furious as the media about President Trump’s supposed imperialist uprising?

In a shocking development, residents of Washington DC seemed to have a sense of humor about the invasion of Greenland and Canada.

“If Donald Trump takes over Greenland, should we call him Ice Hitler?” Edgar asked.

“No, that’s too much,” one man answered.

Another suggested calling him “Viking Chief Executive” instead.

Still, Edgar is a detail-oriented person. “What will we do with the Oompa-Loompa natives of Greenland and where will they be relocated?”

Then some well-meaning Washingtonian confused Oompa Loompas with Inuit. So, do white people have a lot of privilege? Fortunately, unlike most DC journalists, Edgar isn’t in the business of canceling.

But when Edgar asked his people to choose Greenland, Canada, or Washington, D.C., if the United States could only “take over” one place, the answer was clear.

“We have to take back Washington, D.C. for the people,” one man said.

“Will murder become a crime again?” Edgar followed up. Crickets, right there.
